Isocrete Screed Systems
As a Flowcrete Approved Installer of Isocrete K-Screed, CSC supplies and lays Isocrete semi-dry cementitious screeds for programmes where the floor needs to be trafficked or overlaid quickly.
Isocrete K-Screed
A semi-dry screed with a water-reducing K-Additive for earlier drying and higher strength. Standard K-Screed suits most applications, with Heavy Duty K-Screed for heavily trafficked areas. It can be laid bonded, unbonded or floating, including over underfloor heating.
Used by CSC at Great Haddon Primary School for Morgan Sindall (current project) and at Lily's Walk, a 27,000m² residential development for Inland Homes.
Isocrete Fast-K Screed
A semi-dry screed with accelerating, water-reducing and shrinkage-compensating additives for high early strength and rapid drying. Flowcrete positions it for fast-track new build and refurbishment, such as schools, hospitals and retail, where following trades need to get on quickly.
Isocrete Ultimate K-Screed
An early drying, rapid strength semi-dry screed. Flowcrete states a 24-hour walk-on, a 3-day drying time and over 40N/mm² compressive strength, and use over underfloor heating at thicknesses as low as 50mm. It can be laid bonded, unbonded or floating, often thinner than traditional sand and cement.
Used by CSC at Uniqlo, St David's Shopping Centre, Cardiff: 1,671m² bonded with Isocrete Polymer 70.

Do you supply and lay, or labour only?
We supply and lay. CSC provides the materials, batching, pumping and supervised crew, so you deal with one accountable screed subcontractor.
How much screed can you lay in a day?
Up to 1,000m² a day, depending on the site, access and specification.
We have no storage space on site. Can you still work?
Yes. Our Maverick truck batches flowing screed on site and needs no storage area, just a pit lane such as a loading bay or agreed kerbside section.
How far can you pump screed?
Up to 120m for flowing screed and up to 150m for traditional screed.
What accreditations do you hold for prequalification?
Flowcrete Approved Installer – Isocrete K-Screed, ISO 9001 (via Core3), Constructionline Gold, Acclaim, CHAS Premium and Builders Profile approved, with an annual external health and safety audit.
Do you install Isocrete screeds?
Yes. CSC is a Flowcrete Approved Installer of Isocrete K-Screed, and we supply and lay Isocrete K-Screed bonded, unbonded or floating, including over insulation and acoustic layers. We have also laid Isocrete Ultimate K-Screed, for example at Uniqlo Cardiff.
