Arundel Great Court: Around 40,000m² Over 12 Floors

A long-running residential scheme in three wings, screeded floor by floor and handed over ready for the floor finish. In 2026 the Maverick batched flowing screed fresh on site, with nothing stored on the street.

The challenge

Arundel Great Court is a large scheme: around 40,000m² of floor across 12 floors in three wings. Work started in 2021 and ran on and off as the building programme allowed, so we had to be ready to come back, pick up where the floors were ready and keep standards the same every time.

On a city-centre block there's no room to store sand and cement, and no space for a queue of delivery lorries.

Our approach

We planned each return visit around the floors that were ready, so the screed went down when the next trades needed it, not before.

For flowing screed, the Maverick batched fresh on the truck and pumped straight into the building. It doesn't need a yard or a compound. It just needs a pit lane.

Every floor was handed over ready for the floor finish.

The result

Around 40,000m²Screeded over 12 floors in 3 wings, completed October 2026

Store Holdings' scheme is now complete. It's one of over 2,900 projects we've installed since 2010.
