Floor Leveling Compounds

IS IT RIGHT FOR THE JOB?

Floor Leveling Compounds

Floor leveling compounds are primarily cementitious and latex, offering thin, partially self-leveling solutions for reaching SR1. They're ideal for smoothing substrates or as a final layer before installing tiles, vinyl, etc. The installation thicknesses vary but there are solutions that range from 1mm up to 40mm in one application and generally have fast drying properties with polymer modifications.

Latex compounds can be mixed with potable water or in a two-part system with powder and liquid latex. An electric mixer is needed for a smooth mix. It's important to follow the instructions carefully, particularly for water-mix compounds sensitive to the amount of water used. The surface must be clean and free of dust, grease, and any loose materials before application.

Cementitious leveling compounds smooth substrates for precise application of floor finishes like tile, carpet, and wood. Available in thicknesses from 3mm to 40mm, these compounds can be manually or mechanically applied. High tensile strength options are ideal for industrial use, offering quick drying times for rapid final covering installation. Use of a spike roller ensures even application. A carefully prepared surface is required as a solid anchor and correct primer needs to be applied.

Our Accreditations

CSC Screeding are members of Constructionline, CHAS and Builders Profile where a predefined Health & Safety questionnaire is pre-completed and our clients have direct access to the information. Documents contained in the pre-qualification system are updated throughout the year, ensuring continued compliance. We have focused on developing the business through constant innovation, implementation and collaboration.

We were an early adopter of FORS – gaining Bronze accreditation – as we recognised this would become more widely requested on construction sites.

We are now ready for the business to grow with the increasing demand.
